So this year we went with Strawberries & Sunflowers…
After last year’s failure with the strawberry seeds, i decided we should just start with baby plants instead of at the very beginning.
So here are our Strawberry Babies 🙂
We started the Sunflowers with seeds, it was sold as a child’s kit for the garden… comes with pot & soil 😉
After just a week or so, we had Strawberry Flowers 😀
The Sunflowers were also poking their heads out 😀
Then they grew…
But i re-potted & did it badly so today out of 9 Sunflower Babies, only one has survived but that one is going strong 🙂 Hope to have a photo of a flower soon 🙂
The strawberries, on the other hand, i’m happy to report have done well – we have quite a few fruits. Here are some of them:
The strawberries are done for the season but they are growing runners now & i hope to get a few so that i can carry on next year – or even grow them indoors… maybe…
So that’s our Go Green for this year 🙂
