Oh my goodness – i can not believe that i have not written in more than 4 months! Well, there is loads to catch up on – but more about that later…
Today i would like to honour MOTHERS – specifically, my mummy cos she is the Greatest!!
"Happy Mother’s Day" means more
Than have a happy day.
Within those words lie lots of things
We never get to say.
It means I love you first of all,
Then thanks for all you do.
It means you mean a lot to me,
And that I honor you.
But most of all, I guess it means
That I am thinking of
Your happiness on this, your day,
With pleasure and with love.

This simple poem expresses just a little of how i feel about & for my mummy. She taught me right from wrong, she made sure i knew i was loved & accepted exactly for who i am, she was there when i fell, to pick me up & encourage me to go on, she showed me what life is really about – it’s about loving the people in your life & loving them well.
i am who i am because Mummy you had been, still are & forever will be there for me & i love you!
i think of my mummy not just on this special day – but all the days of my life.
