Yes Yes – we left sunny Singapore on Thursday, 26th Feb & arrived that same night in cold wintery Switzerland.
Very jet-lagged – at least i am – i think Tobias is adjusting really well & much faster than me – mainly cos he got to sleep on the flight back. We tried the afternoon flight from Singapore – not too good – i feel. Tobias slept his normal 1hr nap on the flight & then did not sleep again till about 2hrs before we landed. When he was napping, i was finishing a movie, by the time i finished – he was awake – still i tried to sleep but he kept asking questions or for things etc… Then when he slept just before we landed, i was having my dinner so…

For those who don’t know – it was a 13hr flight – & we had been up for about 7hrs before that & plus the 1hr train ride & the minimum unpacking – another hour – we had been up for almost 24hrs.

Today was spent finishing the unpacking & stocking groceries & sleeping…

Still i’m tired…very…need sleep…

… to Singapore that is – in 6hrs we have to be up, get ready & go catch the train to Zurich Airport for our 12 hr flight to Singapore!

Tobias was sooo excited he could hardly contain himself – making himself more hyperactive than normal! He could not fall asleep till 11ish i think – i’m not sure we’ve been busy packing.

So now we are all packed & ready to go.

Oh by the way, thank you all for your well-wishes – we (Tobias & myself) spent the whole of last week ill – Tobias’ fever stayed around for a whole 7x days before it finally & completely went away! i had a better time – was seriously unwell for only 3x or 4x days. Anyhow, we are both recovered & well now.

i also found out that we have not been the only ones down – apparently there is a nasty bug making it’s rounds, as well as chicken pox. i would love for Tobias to get chicken pox asap – it’s one of those childhood illnesses that needs to be done & over with asap – less complications, less itchy too i heard. But not now, since we are travelling.

ok i’m blubbing now… time to go sleep, need to be awake in less than 6hrs.

Yep we are ill – me & the little guy. The big guy is away in Dallas – it seems we always fall ill while he is away – sigh! Maybe we miss him too much??

Anyhow, Tobias has been having fever since Monday – it goes up & then it comes down – most of Tuesday it stayed way high – 39degrees. Wednesday morning was better but after a nap it went up again & stayed there during the night. Today after waiting the required 3x days & paracetamol was not working, we went to the doctor’s – our regular doctor is away so we went to another one – he & his wife were very nice – quite elderly – both of them – they should be retired i think but maybe they keep going with the practice to serve long-time patients & have something to do – such a Swiss thing in my opinion. He mumbles a fair bit but i made out that Tobias has a bad flu – we were given suppositories & nose drops – after 1x dose Tobias was all better – but fever has stayed though only at 37.9degrees. He also has a cough. The doctor was so sweet – he wants to check Tobias again on Monday to make sure he is all well.

Me – well, i think i caught it from him fast – or maybe i was already coming down with something – i started with the cough on Tuesday & now have a full-blown cold with runny nose & cold hands & feet – sigh! sigh!
