Help This Angel…

This girl has some much going on in that head of hers… just look at those eyes. She needs opportunities to show that off. She needs a family.

Her name is Gracelynn – it’s not her real name but it is the name we know her by. She is an orphan and she is waiting for her forever family. She is also one of the children who are on this year’s Reece’s Rainbow’s Angel Tree.

She just turned 11 years old and has such a sparkle in her eyes! Why is she an orphan? We are not sure but it is likely that her Down Syndrome has something to do with it. In her country, children with Down Syndrome are looked upon as unable to live up to anything. It is very sad but true.

However, this Christmas season Gracelynn has a Christmas Angel Tree Warrior loving her, rooting for her and getting the word out there that Gracelynn is in need of a family. Her warrior is also working hard to raise that US$1000 for her as part of the Angel Tree efforts.

Her Warrior is Stephanie and she blogs over at Daily Smiles. Please go over and read what she has been saying about sweet Gracelynn. You can also help by giving a little towards Gracelynn‘s adoption grant. For this Christmas season only, when you give US$35 and above, you will receive a lovely Christmas ornament with Gracelynn‘s photo on it. Have a Laugh…

It has been a busy busy couple of weeks… between husband being away a lot and being seriously ill upon his return home and son’s various activities which usually double during this time of the year, and that means a lot of coming and going, it has just been flat-out go-go-go around here… and of course, i do a lot of fundraising at this time too. (See here, here, here and here.) Plus i have been making a lot of flower hairclips too. (A wonderful friend ordered 12 pairs! Thank you!)

i do a lot of deep breathing to get by when i have a lot to do 😉

i have a lot of pages bookmarked. So i thought i revisit some funny pages i had bookmarked for some good o’ laughter. Actually, for a lot of laughter. After all, laughter is the best medicine!

ROFLOL… that’s what i did reading this article 😉 So i hope you like it a lot too!
