We are getting there!
God has been just brilliant; encouraging us at every turn and providing what we need.
The latest encouragement came through a church friend with this verse:
Yesterday the movers came to pack up our stuff and send all our boxes on their long journey; first to a warehouse, a road trip, then a wait for other boxes to fill up the container, after which a long boat ride, maybe another warehouse and then it arrives, hopefully at our storage space in Singapore 😉
Lots of stuff into lots of boxes (69 boxes to be exact) and onto the truck. Empty rooms!
One more step forwards. A few more steps to go. Send us good wishes, please.

Thanks Adina ☺️ for your well wishes. Oh wow, that’s a long time away and a whole lot of boxes and furniture. We didn’t ship any furniture at all… It was really just clothes, personal stuff and lots of books… I hope you are enjoying being back in the UK. Hopefully we can visit some day…

Thanks for letting us know how it’s gone for you guys. Yes, cultural shock I was am definitely expecting. We have a short- to mid-term housing plan (moving into a room at my godmother’s) but we will have to see what the long-term plan might be… Depending on how much assistance elderly relatives need and would accept… So living arrangements is a big one for us… Not sure what we’re eligible for in terms of housing grants… Yes, being back near family is definitely a plus and we look forward to that. Please definitely come see us if you’re ever in the region 😊
