That’s right – snow has fallen, a white and thick blanket now covers the ground, the trees, the streets and the buildings. It fell overnight and we now have a covering of about 4inches or more 😀

It took us twice as long this morning to get the kids to school – everyone was stopping every few steps to make snowballs!
Ah… after 8 winters, the very first snowfall still makes me smile and brightens my heart 🙂

PS: we did have a flurry of snow a couple of days again but nothing stayed on the ground so this is the first ‘real’ snow 😉
