#CraftJunkies Link-up Week 45… Angel Crafts Shop…

Father’s Day is just round the corner and i have always felt that fathers are not in the lime light as much as they should be. They are very important people in the lives of children, especially in those critical growing years, for both boys and girls. If you ask me, i would say more vital for girls than for boys to have their dads around as a positive role model; how their dads treat them would be how they expect to be treated as a grown woman.

So for this week’s #CraftJunkies Link-up Week 45 i have chosen possible Father’s Day Gifts!

Here are my 5 picksĀ (please note that these pictures are the copyright of the creators of these crafts, i am simply using them to point you to their wonderful works, click on the pictures to go to the relevant pages):

rustictruck
Does your dad love trucks? This would be perfect!
dadshop
This sign states the facts, doesn’t it? Dads are Mr. Fix-It in our lives.
dogtags
Dog Tags are great gifts. Personalised and unique.
mancave
Now which father would not like to mark out a space where they can simply do exactly what the sign says šŸ˜‰
waterbottles
Here’s a gift for sporty fathers – stay hydrated on the go, dads!

Does this give you some idea what to get for your dad? If yes, would you care to share below some of your thoughts?

Hope you get to spend some special time with that all important man in your life; your father. Or you could spend some time remembering those special times, if you, like me, are far from your daddy.

Orphan of the Month for June… Angel Crafts Shop…

Because i did not have any sales in May, my Orphan of the Month for May, TannerJay, did not get any contributions into his adoption grant. So TannerJay will stay on as Orphan of the Month for June.

Now let me introduce you to TannerJay… again šŸ˜‰

TannerJay has a Congenital Heart Defect which shows clearly in his constantly blue lips. i am not sure what it means when his file says his fingers are stumped – maybe they are shorter than they should be. But that hasnĀ“t stopped him from learning a musical instrument and some English. Ā He also has good self-care skills and wants an older brother.

TannerJay needs a loving family to help him get the medical care he needs and more importantly to live his life to the fullest. It is likely that his hope for a family would lay outside of his home country; which means an expensive and long international adoption process.

At the beginning of May, TannerJay“s adoption grant at Reece“s Rainbow was at zero. i am sad to see that it is still at zero. i would like to see at least US$50.00 in his grant by the end of June. i need your help.

You can help by making a purchase from my online shop, Angel Crafts Shop. 50% of all sales in June goes to TannerJay“s adoption grant. So come on over and start shopping!

Please click on TannerJay“s name or picture to find out more about him. And do pray for his daily needs and for a forever family to step up for him.

Thank you very much.

Find Out More… English Playgroup…

Way back at the beginning of March (okay, just 2 months ago), i wrote about the super opportunity i had to start an English Playgroup right here in our little village.

But things did not go as plan, we did not have enough children to start in Spring. So hereĀ“s another effort to get the word out that the English Playgroup in Langendorf, Solothurn, Switzerland is definitely starting 20th August! šŸ™‚

In 9 days, i will be hosting an Information Evening about the English Playgroup so interested parents can find out more. Here are the details:
