All better …

Thanks to everyone who showed their care & concern about Tobias & of cos for praying.

He’s now well – actually he recovered quite fast once the vomiting was stopped with a change of medication from our regular doctor. – Praise God!!! The docs said that it would take 4 to 7 days to recover – but he had to energy to do some reading by the end of the 2nd day – by the end of the 3rd day he was playing just fine. He is currently (excuse the language) farting a lot – & today he had diarrhoea – we think he might still be battling the residue virus – but he is fine, no fever, even his coughing has stopped.

Just a little comment on the beautiful weather we are having – almost 3x weeks now, we’ve had temperatures above 20, reaching 25 even. It has been sunny, mostly without a cloud in the blue sky  – this is supposed to be Spring, not yet Summer. Some say that Winter hardly came & Spring just whizzed by & now we have the beginnings of Summer. But i must say we do need a little rain – all that nice new grass is actually going a bit brown now. Besides, i’m sure the farmers would appreciate some rain.

That’s it for now.

Hospital…

It’s now 3am in the morning – we just got back from the hospital – Tobias didn’t stop vomiting so after the 3rd time in 2hrs – i took him to the ER – but they don’t have a pedi here in Solothurn & they didn’t think he would keep down medicine as he vomited the water he drink before. So i had to drive myself & him to the Children’s Hospital in Biel – i had to find it – somewhere up the mountain – getting there was good – the docs & nurses were great! They diagnose him as having the beginnings of Gastroenteritis – which i take to be Gastic Flu? will look it up in the morning after some sleep. So can’t do anything but ride out the virus – which should take about 4-5 days, says the doc. He vomited again when we got home – water again – he hates vomiting now – he tries to keep it in even – sigh! Called the hospital they said it’s normal – we had given him something for the vomiting but the doc says it won’t really take effect cos it’s a virus. If in the morning he still can’t keep water down, we’ll go to our doc here in our village. sigh! i go sleep now.

Superman…vomit…& all without daddy

So i was going to start a nice happy, funny post about how obsessed recently my little guy is about Superman – ever since we let him watch Superman Returns with us. But… i heard strange loud sounds from Tobias’ room… rushed in & saw him vomiting all over his bed, crying & everything… i heard no coughing before that so it was not the coughing fit which caused the vomiting – it must have been just something he ate … maybe the day-old spring rolls?? We’ve never had them overnight – usually never any leftover. i’m not sure – have to see how it goes tomorrow. He fell asleep on the sofa while i cleaned everything up – ouch! back hurts now – my bad back is acting up again – sigh! Now he is resting in his bed – Thank God for water-proof under-sheets. Pray that Tobias recovers quickly & fully from his cough & that this vomiting is just a 1x time thing.

Sigh! This is the 2nd time in 2x weeks he has thrown up – last week he threw up because of his coughing fit – & now tonight. & all these had to happen while my darling hubby is away – sigh!

Walter has been alway since the beginning of the month & will only be back this Saturday. This time , more than any other time, i want him to be back fastest possible. Other times, i have been a little more patient.

Well, back to the original idea of this post, the Superman boy – well, after watching Superman a few times, Tobias could hum the whole tune – including all the little beginning parts, in-between parts & the dramatic ending bit. His grandparents were greatly entertained while he was in Singapore & he, of cos, soaked up every moment of having a captive audience 😉

Here’s a photo of him in his Superman PJs which my mummy bought him – after being so entertained by his singing 😉

Well, have to check on him now.
