Heath Has A Family!!!

Yesterday at about 10.30pm, i was (still am) the happiest person on this earth! i found out that my precious beloved little Heath has a family coming for him!

See that red circle with the red arrow pointing to it? Those words made me so very happy!

Meet the Drake family. They are homestudy approved and have committed to him! And because God had worked the miracle of bringing in the funds before He brought in the family, they are fully funded! At least for the paperwork and travel required by Heath’s home country. i don’t know yet if they will need to do some fundraising to cover the expenses of the paperwork and medicals they have to do stateside. You can follow their journey at their blog.

The Drake family are coming for Heath! Hurray!

What you can do now is to pray, pray for them as they prepare to receive another child into their home, pray their children to be ready for a new brother and pray Heath’s heart to be ready for a life-changing experience. Pray also that their process will be smooth and without any hurdles so they can reach Heath faster. Pray for Heath’s health, pray that he remains healthy while waiting, pray that his daily needs are met.

Praise the Lord! i’m soooo very happy that my little Heath will soon have a mummy and daddy and brothers and sister to call his very own. 😀

PS: i was so excited to post this blogpost that i didn’t realise maybe some people may not understand the significance or how important this little guy is to me. He was the one my heart broke into pieces for (i first saw him in this post), he was the one i wanted to bring home so very badly, he was the one who led me into the world of special needs orphans and international adoption, he was the one God used show me what was the work He had for me at this time… and it has been 13 months and 4 days since i came to know about Heath and that is why this is the most joyous news to me. 😀

4170 to Catch Up… Forty to Forever…

Forty to Forever has been running for the last 34 days (not counting Sundays). We have raised a great amount for the children but we are US$4170 short of every child meeting their goal of US$400 each.

Please help us meet our goal for each child. Please go over to Forty to Forever and take part in our Catch Up and Give(away) Day.

Please go here to find out more about extra Party Favours to help get our children to their target amounts!

Thank you very much.

Day 34: Angelina Needs A Family… Forty to Forever…

Today at Forty to Forever we are shouting out for little Angelina with her pretty blond hair and amazing blue eyes. She has a list of medical needs but most of all she needs a family. We want to give her the exposure needed to find that family and we want to help make their journey to her that much easier… please help grow her adoption grant and share her story…
Today’s Lent Devotion speaks about something which i normally pay little attention to – the Church Calendar… there is so much more to it than just Easter and Christmas… have a read, look it up and learn a bit… syc

Our Goal is to raise $400 for Angelina… $270 to go!

Angelina-290x300Today is another one of those difficult days.  We were supposed to be raising money today for one of our sweet Russian babies, but due to the current climate in Russia, there is no way we can possibly take any donations for those precious orphans there.  Please pray that Russia will take an honest look at the plight of their orphans with special needs, that they will realize these children deserve better than the mental institutions they have to offer, and that sacrificing the lives of their most vulnerable citizens is a more shameful thing than any political fumble.  Pray for our Russian friends and those that govern them.  Pray for Russian orphans, and pray for their families that long to hold them one day.

While we wait and pray for God to move hearts and open minds, we…
