Little King & Drama …

Here’s a cute picture of Tobias as “king” (we ate lunch at BK’s today – mummy wanted to have a Bacon Double 😉

Doesn’t he look cute? 😉

He has also taken to being like a little “king” – showing his temper when he doesn’t get what he wants – he screams at the top of his lungs & after that, everything that happens is wrong – all is wrong – for example, yesterday he threw a temper in the bath, then he wanted out – i said wait, then i took him out, he wanted in & everything i did was wrong & he didn’t stop till he went down for his afternoon nap. It even went on a little during his bedtime – after i had left him to fall asleep, which he normally does with no problems – he talks himself to sleep. He has also started to do something else – when he doesn’t get what he wants & he knows that he’s not supposed to have it, he hits his hands on something hard several times & then comes to me & shows them to me, saying:”See u hurt your hand!” – wanting to be “sai-yang”.

Sigh! what can a mummy do??!!
Thank God i’ve just been told today by another mum that this stage of his life is at the worst from 2.5yrs to about 3yrs – we pray hard that he gets over it quickly & that mummy knows how to handle it wisely & without going insane.

We are both currently under the weather – a few weeks ago i was sick, then Tobias & now that he’s getting better, i’m getting sick again!

Dry pants…

When i picked up Tobias from daycare this afternoon, he was wearing the same pants as when i dropped him off – which means… he didn’t wet his pants – Yippy!! 🙂
In the last couple of weeks, he had wet his pants at least once each time he was there. He was doing fine at the beginning of Oct when he started there. i’m not sure what happened. Maybe he decided that they didn’t understand him & so didn’t want to tell them. He still didn’t tell them but they managed to take him when they said him jumping around. Now i pray that he will start telling him … actually come to think of it – i ask him most of the time & then he replies he wants to go – maybe i should stop asking him at home too. But i only ever ask him when we are washing his hands or in the morning & before going out. Sigh!
They are really nice about it at the Krippe (daycare) & reassure me that he will soon get the hang of it. Of cos, in their opinion he is really young to be toilet-trained.

Just a little thing to celebrate!
