So more about the hail – exchanging notes about it with neighbours today – some said they know people with dents on their cars. i didn’t see much damage other than the batted trees & plants – the bad corn fields look really sad now – some are so torn that they look as if it’s just the stalk of the plant left. Then a neighbour highlighted to me that her shutters have lots of dents in them – i check ours & true enough there were the dents!! i tried to get a good picture of the dents but they all didn’t turn out well. So here are more pics about the hail itself.

Yes, it hailed again – if u remembered, i posted about hail in March too. That one is March is no match to this one. This one had much bigger hail stones (almost as big as golf balls) & it lasted longer – 15mins. It was also very very windy – to the point where i had to closed all the shutters , fearing that the windows would be damaged. Enough fell to cover most of the ground.

Yesterday, Tobias went with me to deliver some books to a friend in our little village – we walked there – it’s not far. Tobias wanted to ride his bike – it was raining – not heavily, just little rain – so i said ok – Dressed him in all the warm, water-proof stuff & off we went. Now Tobias had not taken his afternoon nap – i had him in the stroller after lunch (which was after Music Class – he normally is quite pooped out) but he’s didn’t fall asleep on the train like he normally does. Came home, got him to go lay down on my bed – still no sleep – so i thot never mind – we had to go so we went. We got there & he was really happy to see my friend’s little boy, played with him for 5mins & then collapsed on their floor, falling asleep. So moved him to the sofa – he fell asleep & after an hour or so woke up sobbing & screaming – didn’t calm down for a long time & won’t say what’s wrong. But he did take the bowl of biscuits on the coffee table & ate most of them. Still sobbing, we packed him into the car & my friend drove us home. Got home, Walter changed him into house clothes & he fell asleep on the sofa again. We ate & then he woke after we finished – he wouldn’t eat rice so i fried an egg for him – after only half an egg, he threw up. We cleaned up & put him PJs & gave him medication & he went to sleep. Woke quite a number of times during the night, saying pain (he bumped his head earlier) & needing cream. So in the end i slept in his bed with him. He woke up happy. Then by mid morning he had a fever (oh he had a fever during the night too) – which got higher as the afternoon went – another does & more sleep – fever broke by about 4pm & he has been his cheerful active self since. So i pray that’s the end of this round of illness.
