Orphan of the Month of July – Angel Crafts Shop…

Meet Lolita!

This sweetheart, 5.5 years old, is described as gentle, cute, and quiet with a sweet smile. i am very sad to learn that she was abandoned at 4 years old. She had a family but for some reason they could not go on caring for her. She is reported to have had surgery for her heart condition before her arrival at the orphanage. She is diagnosed with Brain Dysplasia, also known as Cortical Dysplasia, which affects the top layer of the brain.

She is a reserved child but gets along with her care-givers. Lolita can feed herself and use the bathroom independently. Even though her language is said to be delayed, she is curious and observant. She needs a loving family to help her reach her full potential.

Lolita is a newly listed child on Reece’s Rainbow and has nothing at all in her adoption grant. Angel Crafts Shop will like to start the ball rolling and grow her adoption grant.

It Has Been 3 Months…

Yep… Angel Crafts Shop has been opened for 3 months now!

Thank you all for your wonderful support and encouragement! It has been my honour to have you all as customers and supporters.

Today i just like to take a quick look again at the precious children (our special needs orphans) whose adoption grants you have helped to grow over these 3 months.

Angel Crafts Shop was launched on March 25th 2014, which left only 6 days till the end of March so i decided we will simply have 2 kiddos from the launch date till the end of April.

Our March/April kids were Jasper and Jason. We sold US$52 worth of items so 50% of that – US$26 was divided equally between the 2 boys’ grants. They each received US$13.

Jasper and Jason are still waiting for their forever families to step forward so please do continue to pray for them and share their stories. You can click on their names or pictures to find out more about them.

Pray especially for Jasper who has only 6 months till he ages out of his country’s adoption system and becomes “unadoptable”.

Andrew is shy but will do well in a loving home.

Our May Orphan of the Month was Andrew. We sold US$81 worth of items so Andrew’s adoption grant received US$40.50. He too is still waiting on his forever family. Do say a little prayer for him and share his story too. To read more about Andrew, click on his name or picture.

Mollie needs a caring family to help her reach her potential.

Our June Orphan of the Month was Mollie. We sold US$83 worth of items so we were able to grow Molllie‘s adoption grant by US$41.50. We continue to hope and pray for a forever family for her. It has been wonderful to watch how people get behind these children and support them through a little online shopping. i hope to be able to continue to work with you all to make a difference in more children’s lives, through growing their adoption grants and sharing their stories.

Orphan of the Month of June – Angel Crafts Shop…

Meet Mollie!

She is 10 years old and although her file says she has mental delays, reports of her being able to function independently seems to indicate she has no issues in daily life. Her language skills does not seem to be an issue. She is helpful and gets along well with other children. She enjoys toys and music and outdoor activities.

She really needs a loving family to help her reach her full potential. A family who sees what she can do and not what she can not do, a family who values her for who she is, just as she is. We pray and hope that her forever family will find her soon.

AngelCraftsShop would like to help grow Mollie‘s adoption grant which is currently very low. A bigger adoption grant could ease the journey her forever family has to take to reach her. We also hope that through making her our orphan of the month, it would help make more people aware of her needs.

So in the month of June, 50% of all sales from AngelCraftsShop will go to Mollie‘s adoption grant, held at Reece’s Rainbow.
