Moving!…

That’s right – MOVING!

If you have read our Christmas Letter, you would know that we bought a little apartment in our village. Move Day is 24th January!

So how’s the packing/moving progress? Slow :p

We have some stuff from the cellar shifted over and have spent the last couple of weeks shopping for a few new furniture items. It was fun shopping but not so fun paying for it … hehehee… but it will be worth it.

i also wanted to take this chance to say that because of the craziness which moving homes usually entails, i will not be online as much and decision such as adding a new orphan to my Just Needing A Family’s Love advocacy and new items to Angel Crafts Shop will take a backseat. i will still be online and keeping up with advocating for JASON as much as possible and will still process orders for Angel Crafts Shop but just in reduced capacity.

Please also note that Angel Crafts Shop will not be taking custom orders from 15th January till 25th January. Normal orders of ready-to-ship items will still be processed, but may be delayed by a day or two.

JASPER’s Last Few Days Before…

The precious boy we have been shouting out for this year has run out of time… he has JUST 4 DAYS till he becomes unadoptable!

BUT it is not a lost battle – JASPER has been prayed for by so many and i know the Lord has heard and the Lord has a plan for him and whatever that plan might be, we may never know about it, it will be good because the Lord will go with JASPER always!

i am sad and very disappointed. However, i must keep the faith that what we have done is not in vain. That the funds we raised for JASPER, even though it will not be used for JASPER, it will benefit another precious child.

The Lord hears our prayers so please continue to PRAY for JASPER. Pray for his future, pray for the Lord to guide his steps and provide loving people to come into his life and care for him. Pray that the Lord would provide a family for JASPER, even if it is not the conventional family we would imagine for him.

i know first hand that a family doesn’t have to be a mummy, a daddy and children. i have lived away from home and know that family is whoever loves you and will put your interests ahead of their own. Labels don’t matter that much. It is the love.

And this is the prayer i pray for JASPER, that he will know love, the love of people in his life, the love of the Lord and that he will learn to love others in return. Because love wins.

Orphan of the Month for December… Angel Crafts Shop…

JASPER is my Orphan of the Month for November and December because he is also my Angel Tree Child for this year’s big Christmas fundraiser over at Reece’s Rainbow.

i would like to let you know that we had one order in November and raised US$15 for JASPER‘s adoption grant. This has already been put into his grant which currently stands at US$8984.05.

i am also posting lots on my advocacy page and to other groups i know, to help share JASPER‘s need for a forever family. He has only 3 weeks left before he is “unadoptable”.

You can help!
