Back in the middle of April, we found out that a friend’s little daughter was sick with a very rare cancer and i had posted a couple of times since asking for prayers. Thank you those of you who have prayed for little Jillian. She passed away peacefully last night. She had taken a turn for the worse at the start of last week – it had seemed that she was getting better a couple of days ago – but i guess it is time for her to go home to Jesus, she has gone home where there is no more pain and suffering – a place of peace. Please do pray for her parents and the rest of the family as they go through this time of grieve.

So i went to my very 1st NaNoWriMo Write-in on Saturday!
i “abandoned” husband and son for an entire day – went to my Ladies Day Away – Stress seminar – in the morning, then immediately after that, i took the train to Fribroug and found this little tea-shop which was tucked away in a little corner of the old town area, walked in and found these bunch of people all bended over their laptops, typing away. i was immediately welcomed & we all got back to the business of writing.
i love the hot chocolate served there – it comes in wonderful different flavours including strawberry 😉
The atmosphere is also great for writing – the walls – not pictured – are filled floor to ceiling with books. It is a tiny place – most of the sitting space is shown in the picture – there are maybe another 3 bar stools just after where you see the muffins. A total of 13 people squeezed in that little space, writing their 50,000 words.
i also got to experience my first word war – which is great – crazy but great – a time limit is set and you type as many words as you can in that time 😉
ok time to go get writing again.

Sob! Sniff sniff – that’s right i’m not well – well, i’m not surprised considering i spent the last few nights up late trying to write & write & write some more … still behind – but need sleep… can’t write today – sob sob – hope to somehow still cross the finishing line – sigh… off to sleep so can recover asap and get writing again – oh my, this NaNoWriMo is really addicitive cos all i’m concerned about is my story & how i’m going to finish – sigh!!
