This week it is the handmade jewelry on #happyhandmade which caught my eye š
Here are my 6 picks from #happyhandmade eighty-one (please note that pictures are copyrighted by the creators of the items and iām using them just to direct you to their shop ā click on the pictures to see more):
i love wearing bracelets and rings and used to always wear lots of them; so much so that i jingled as i walked š Do you have a favourite type of jewelry; necklaces, bracelets, rings, anklets?
We are coming to the end of the new school semester š And a few things have been new for us… i thought i share them with you.
1) i can’t remember if i have blogged about Tobias returning to Chinese class early this year. We stopped when he was in second year Kindi cos the school he was going to then closed due to lack of students. He didn’t go again until this year when one of his good friends started going. So that was new for early 2014. NOW… we have started with a new Chinese teacher – one who lives much closer, just the next village over and after a rough start, Tobias is enjoying his new Chinese class.
These are his new chinese books…
2) We got a new fridge!! It was dying, on its last legs even before we went for our summer holiday. But it well and truly gave up a couple of weeks after we got back. And after more than a week of surviving with a fridge which only cools to 15 degrees, we got a new one!! *happy*
So white andĀ clean š and it works beautifully š
3) New bed/cupboards for Tobias š He is really thrilled about this. After 8 years of sleeping in the same bed and having the same rickety cupboard, we finally found a bed/cupboard set at our price range! Walter and his colleague, along with some help from Tobias and myself, put it together – took us a whole Saturday š

4) It’s tennis vs squash and he chose squash! Tobias has decided to stop Judo training and try another sport. We went for trial lessons for both tennis and squash. Squash won his heart over. There is no kids class for squash – apparently not a lot of interest with children here. This is the one racket game i did not get to learn in my school days. And because he needs someone to play with –Ā soĀ mummy and son go for squash lessons together.

It has been an eventful 6 weeks. One more week and then it’s autumn hols! š
i have missed posting my favourites from #happyhandmade for a while now. Time to get back to it! Since i just shared my own Halloween collection, i thought it would be fun to look at other people’s Halloween collection too.
So without further ado, here are my six favourite items from #happyhandmade eighty (please note that pictures are copyrighted by the creators of the items and iām using them just to direct you to their shop ā click on the pictures to see more):
i know the Scooby shoes are not quite Halloween-y. But everytime i think of Scooby Doo, i picture he and the gang running from some monster. Hhehehee…
We don’t really celebrate Halloween so there are no traditions from our family i can share with you. Besides, i’m a bit of a scaredyĀ mouse, so this is not my kind of thing. But i love all the cute items other crafters have come up with.
Now tell me,Ā do you celebrate Halloween? If yes, what’s your favourite part of Halloween?
