Please help her by sharing her story and by growing her adoption grant so her forever family can reach her sooner.

Our Goal is to raise $400 for Marci… $198 to go!

MarciMeet Marci! She is just over two years old and has recently learned to stand up on her own! Isn’t she the cutest thing? That soft baby hair and chubby little arms are too adorable! At some point in the last year Dana and his wife Kathy were introduced to Reece’s Rainbow and the special needs adoption community. They spent a great deal of time reading the information on Reece’s Rainbow and learning about the way the children featured on the site live. They both felt a tug at their heartstrings and began to advocate for these children through prayer and the Angel Tree program.

After seeing a great deal in the news about children and programs in Eastern Europe they began to investigate the needs and process for that area. As Kathy said: “The conditions described there weighed on our hearts and minds and we…

Day 37: Colton for the McIntee Family… Forty to Forever…

Today at Forty to Forever, we are shouting out for a dear family, the McIntees, who has been actively advocating for orphans well before they started their own adoption journey. They had a major roadblock with their first adoption, but they are committed to wait out that roadblock. In the meantime, God has moved them to bring Colton home. Please help them.
Today’s Lent Devotion speaks about making fasting a weekly routine… so that we are constantly reminded of Our Lord and His Work on the Cross… have a read, consider it and make it so… syc

Our Goal is to raise $400 for Colton… $257 to go!

10811130632-Colton-feb2012-1-300x236Colton is a sweet, two year old boy who has Down syndrome.  Isn’t he precious?  Please help us get this sweet boy home!  This is his family’s story…

Kyle and Kara met in 2004 and quickly fell in love. They were soon blessed with four beautiful daughters after that and live a blissfully busy life.  When Kara discovered Reece’s Rainbow, it was like a dream come true. She has always been called to orphans and especially the work of Mother Teresa, but didn’t know how to help. So, having a tangible way to advocate for these children was amazing. Kara spent months advocating for a sweet little redhead, Nico.  When she saw Nico’s face, and after a series of signs from The Lord,  ”someday” became “now.” Kyle wasn’t so sure, but after a while, and some more signs, he was on board too…

It Is the Mulligan Stew 2013…

What is that? Well, Wiki defines it as an improvised dish said to have been prepared by American hobos in camps in the early 1900s. It is a sort of stew which is made of ingredients which are begged, scavenged, found or stolen.

But the Mulligan Stew i am referring to is made up of very different ingredients; it is made with love first of all, and with tears, and with big hearts. i am talking about the Mulligan Stew which is being brewed over at Micah Six Eight – Covenant Builders, which will benefit 7 families and 12 waiting orphans.

mulliganstew2013Hear the heart of the stew makers:

Our Mulligan Stew is a tasty community stew that will feed a whole host of orphans, because a whole host of Godly people from the adoption community threw a whole host of great ingredients into our stew pot.

There are more than 100 items simmering away in our stew pot. The total value of all of these items is well over $5,000.00. Every single one of these donated items has been accompanied by whispered prayers that God will multiply the gift.

Our stew’s been simmering for several weeks now. We’ve been praying for the Lord’s blessing on this meal.

Now we just need YOU to help us care for the orphan.

It is so very easy to help and every little bit helps make the stew even more yummy!

Simply head over to Micah Six Eight, donate to an adopting family and a waiting child, comment at that blog with your full name and you have a chance at one of those 100 over items in the stew!

Thank you very much.
